If you are looking for a bodybuilding music playlist, here are a few tunes that I think are awesome when it comes to finding a perfect playlist for your bodybuilding sessions.

If you’ve ever gone to the gym and had a disappointing session because of lack of motivation, you will understand how frustrating this can be.

Having a motivated training partner is a good thing, but, sometimes, if you are on your own, you may need a little bit of psychological help.

Some of the best workouts that I have had, have been just me on my own with my earphones firmly attached and pumping out sounds to help me get that extra rep or give me that extra focus.

There is nothing wrong with listening to the Rocky soundtrack but sometimes you need something a bit more aggressive.

I’ve listed a few tracks that are on my own bodybuilding music playlist, and which have given me the motivation I needed, past and present.

I’ve got a very varied musical taste, listening to all types of music from Kenny Rogers to Neil Diamond; from Iron Maiden to Bob Dylan; but I find that there is only a certain type of music that will help get a great workout done.

This might not be up to everyone’s taste… unless you are a bit of a metal head. But get these tracks on your playlist and try them out. Be careful not to get too jacked and stacked though!

Land Of Confusion by Disturbed

Sanitarium by Metallica

Thunder Struck by AC DC

The Trooper by Iron Maiden

Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace

Trivium by Strife

Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin

The Pretender by Foo Fighters

Down With The Sickness by Disturbed

The Wicker Man by Iron Maiden

Bodies by Drowning Pool

There are some old songs and some newer ones here, but, as my granny liked to say, the old ones are the best. Yeah! You will often find her blasting out a bit of Metallica on the old 45.

I’m always open to suggestions and I am always on the lookout for other great training tunes. I know there are some unknown bands out there coming up with real awesomeness; please let me know when you find them and I’ll add them to this playlist.

Cheers!
