If you have read any of my other articles or even some of the books that I have written, you will know that I am a big believer in long term health and sustainable fitness goals because if you want great weight loss or fitness results, you need to be in it for the long term.

Here are a few quick weight loss tips that you can get started with today. If you add just one of these ideas into your life, it will be part of your foundation for weight loss success!

Let’s get to the quick weight loss tips!

Add more fibre to your diet

Fibre is a great nutrient. If you add a form of fibre to each meal that you eat, you will actually feel fuller for longer!

It works like this: many high fibre foods tend to slow digestion down, and this is the main reason that you feel fuller; also, a lot of high fibre foods take a lot of chewing, and, therefore, you are usually full up before you have over-eaten.

High fibre foods are also known to lower blood cholesterol, too! So, as you can see, this is a great place to start on your search for quick weight loss tips.

Here are a few high fibre foods that you can consider adding to your meals:

  • Bran
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Spinach and other leafy greens
  • Celery
  • Butternut squash
  • Mushrooms
  • Beans

As you can see, this list shows a good selection of different types of fibre that you can throw into any meal!

Stop drinking sugary carbonated drinks

This is a big one and there is a good article on this website that you can expect to open your eyes to hidden sugar in foods. (CLICK HERE to read this)

Most fizzy drinks are unbelievably bad for weight loss. Most people will cut out fatty foods before looking at their habits in the area of carbonated and sugary drinks. My opinion is that the effect of this type of calorie intake is very understated.

If you have a fizzy drink or energy drink habit, try to substitute these with something else, preferably water. I know that this can be a fairly drastic change for most people, so it’s best to start with diluted cordial, and, over the weeks, you can slowly use less and less cordial until it is very weak of just plain water.

Get a regular, effective exercise routine going

This sounds obvious but I know that there are plenty of people who make up their own home exercise routine. That is great and I admire people who actually take the initiative and start to do this. I did this many times when I was younger, but, looking back at it, I was not benefiting nearly as much as I’d like to think.

I have actually written a home workout course for this website, and you can check it out by CLICKING HERE. There are several home workout courses for different fitness levels available in most of my books. However, if you are new to fitness and active exercising, go ahead and get my book, Home Workout For Beginners.

As far as quick weight loss tips go, this one should be at the top of your list! I’m not saying this because I have something to sell but once you get into physical training — whatever level you start — it becomes a part of your life that will have a heavy impact on your weight loss, fitness and health goals.

So, whether you download or purchase my programs or you choose the program from another vendor, the important thing is to get yourself active and working out regularly and effectively.

Drink cold or ice water

Drinking plenty of water is always a good idea. If you drink enough water, you will be making your body more efficient. Water transports the nutrients around your body. If you stay hydrated, you will be making your body’s job a lot easier.

If you drink very cold water, it is thought that your body will try to raise its core temperature. This is not just a switch that your body just flicks and it’s done; it takes energy for this to happen and the energy that your body uses is measured in calories… You’ve got it! You will burn calories whilst your core temperature warms up.

All of these quick weight loss tips are incremental. I always bang on about this. If this is the first publication of mine that you have read, it is worth noting that:

A lot of small changes will add up to a big results.

By implementing a few of these quick weight loss tips and sticking with them, over time, you will witness a great positive difference in both your fitness level, overall health and lifestyle.

I hope that this short article has been useful to you in some way. As always, I am here to help you. If you have any queries, please leave a comment or contact me, and I will do my best to get back to you.

Good luck, and let me know how you get on!
